Post-Processing
There are a wide variety of automated image enhancements at Geosense’s disposal through our image processing softwares. Our experienced staff use contrast stretching, smoothing and edge enhancement filters in order to optimise image quality for its end purpose. The individual satellite scenes are then mosaiced into a single seamless digital dataset.
Classifications both unsupervised or supervised, (with or without ground truthing data) are carried out on the raw data pixels value to group land use features into classes based on spectral properties.
Geosense offers satellite data analysis and interpretation including feature extraction, geological studies and planning. Ultimately, the satellite data and interpretation will be required as hardcopy maps. Geosense uses a high resolution HP Designjet plotter for hardcopy output, which can either be encapsulated or laminated for durability.
