Venjar, Eidsvoll, Akershus Rail Track - Norway

In 2018, NCC won a contract with Bane NOR to build a stretch of double track on the rail line from Venjar to north of Eidsvoll station in Akershus, Norway. The new double track is due to be operational by autumn 2022 and the contract work fully completed by summer 2023. The project involved a substantial amount of geotechnical instrumentation. Cautus Geo started the installation in February 2019 and continued through 2019 and into 2020. The installation of load cells was carried out from September 2019 to February 2020.

Jakarta MRT CP-104/5 - Jakarta, Indonesia

The CP104 and CP105 construction sections include a total of 3.89 kms of 6.05m twin tube tunnelling, four underground stations - Senayan, Istora, Bendungan Hilir, and Setiabudi - and a cut-and-cover transition structure of almost 500m in length to connect the below and above ground sections.

Jakarta MRT CP-106 - Jakarta, Indonesia

The project comprised the construction of two underground stations, Bunderan HI and Dukuh Atas, together with more than 8km of associated tunnelling. Diaphragm walls were installed to form the station boxes followed by excavation and construction of the slabs from roof slab downwards as excavation progresses.

Madrid High Speed Railway - Spain

Geosense instrumentation has been used in a test project and is also installed along a section of new track. A series of Total Pressure Cells (TPC) were used to monitor loading underneath the live track as part of an extensive research and development programme for the new Trans European Railway network CEDEX installed for the Spanish AVE system.

Hillerød - Denmark

As part of a trial for Banedanmark, a Geosense MEMS track monitoring system was installed over an initial 20 metre length track to monitor the twist and cant of the track in an area of high instability.
